Privacy Policy

Short version: there are no accounts, no sign-ups and no advertising cookies. Test pages are made in your browser, and we don't collect your name, email or anything you type into the page.
What you type stays in your browser
Everything you pick or type to build a test page, including the technician name or footnote field, is used only to draw the page in your browser. None of it is sent to us or stored on our servers.
What we store in your browser
The site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) for two small conveniences. Neither value identifies you, and neither is sent anywhere:
pj_last_increment_at: when you last printed, so repeated prints don't inflate the counter.pj_mobile_banner_dismissed: remembers that you closed the "best viewed on a computer" notice.
You can clear these at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Print and scan counters
When you print, the site asks our server to add one to a shared, anonymous tally, which is kept by a counter service called CounterAPI. The request goes through our own server, so the counter service receives the "+1" but not your IP address. Our server also adds one to a tally for the template you printed (for example "Ghost-Buffer Exorcism"), stored with our host, Cloudflare, so we can see which designs are popular. Nothing about who printed or what you typed into the page is recorded.
Printed pages carry a QR code. Scanning it opens the same template on this site, and our server adds one to an anonymous tally for that template, stored the same way. Nothing about who scanned it is recorded.
Hosting and site statistics
PaperJammed.net is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Short-lived request logs may be used to fix problems.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see overall numbers such as page views, popular pages and referring sites. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and gives us only totals, not individual profiles.
Fonts and icons from other services
To load its styling, fonts and icons, the main page requests files from these providers. As with any web request, they receive your IP address and browser details:
- Google Fonts (Google privacy policy)
- cdnjs, run by Cloudflare, for the icons
- the Tailwind CSS CDN, for styling
Tips (Buy Me a Coffee)
The "Pizza is my favorite!" button is a tip jar run by Buy Me a Coffee. Its image loads from their server, so they receive your IP address and browser details like any other web request. Clicking it takes you to their site, and anything you choose to give is handled entirely by them; we never see your payment details.
Advertising and affiliate links
The site doesn't currently show ads or use affiliate links. If that changes, this page will be updated before they go live to name the partners involved, describe any cookies they use, and explain your choices, including how to opt out of personalized ads.
Children
PaperJammed.net is a general-audience humor site. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Emailing us
If you email contact@paperjammed.net, we'll use your email address and message only to reply. We won't add you to a mailing list or share your address.
Your choices
You can use the site with local storage blocked or cleared; the print cooldown and the dismissed notice just won't be remembered. If you have a question about your data or want something deleted, email contact@paperjammed.net.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
